I just came across this poet randomly; a friend of mine posted a piece he did on facebook --I'm glad they did. The kid is sick and after you watch one video you definitely will want more. Don't worry though, he's been recorded and posted plenty of times -- the dude even spit for Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama. With that said, I know I can end there and let him speak for himself. Mad respect to the gift and to the giver of it. Ladies and gentleman, I give you, Joshua Bennett.
This poem is Dope!!!!!! Has me speechless! (hip hop; has killed as many as it has saved and has moved as many as it has paralyzed---strong to his main objective that he's had a combative relationship with HIP HOP!) Not only is it written clearly and beautifully but I totally agree!
